Intercom System for a Serviced Office Block in Birmingham, West Midlands

We attended a call out to fix and repair an existing intercom system for a serviced office block in Birmingham.

After assessing the system and explaining the issues, the customer asked us to quote to repair it.

There were also other offices which were not linked to the existing intercom. So the managing agent also asked for a quote for a new upgraded system that would connect those rooms.

SITE SURVEY TO SAVE TIME, MONEY & HASSLE

The office block is home to several different businesses. And it has three separate entrance points.

We replaced the 3 outstations with new equipment that has a digital display. Now any visitor can scroll through and pick the company they would like to call.

We added new monitors into each of the companies that are within the shared building. So, if called, they can all reply.

This solution is easy to use and efficient for each individual company.

To save time, money and hassle, we could see that we would be able to use the existing cabling.

Plus...

The customer didn't want to add new cabling to the new monitors in the separate offices. So we needed to find a solution for that.

INTERCOM SYSTEM INSTALLATION

We opted to use the Hikvision 2 wire video intercom on this site to replace all 3 outstations. As explained, each has a touch display unit.

We also used 7 inch Hikvision indoor monitors.

This kit was perfect for this job as it replaced the old equipment hassle free.

To save time and money, we used the existing cabling.

And the wireless network already in the building to reach the new monitors. So no cabling needed.

Better still, we were able to connect to each individual company's wi-fi. This mean they could get notifications through to their mobile phones as well as in the office.

But there's more...

The solution we provided gave them HD quality video. And 2 way talk using a mobile app. This allowed them to use the system inside and outside of the office.
